REFLECTIONS I:
Yours and mine,
On the sands of time.
Clear, clean, cozy,
Soft, distinctly lazy;
Like a ruler’s reign,
A gambler’s gain,
You became my greed,
My caste, critic, creed.
And…in the reflection saw I,
The hand that waved a ‘bye’-
Was it yours?
Was it mine?
I don’t have a clue…
An image apparently fine-
Was it a dream?
Was it true?
